I could peep
into crevices
Those hairline
fissures
Where the
two sides of glacier
Barely
manage to breathe
Into the
sighs of each other
Like
the parting moment
Of a nascent
calf in a barn
Your façade
is frigid and callous
It freezes
the oozing emotions
That find the
way out ftom cracks
Like a
futile oar on a glacier
I eternally wait
for the thaw
The blurred
signs from behind ice
Of a
capsized vessel that knocks feebly
On these
white doors of apathy
Oh I wish I could
row the glacier
Away from the
top of serene waters
But the magma
of indifference
Leaks silently
from the deep burrows
And dies a stony
death on ice
The oar on the
glacier continues
To wait for the
thawed rock of ice.
