When the eventual end
Will resolve a listless life
The door to a frozen time
Leads to infinite nothingness
The round knob that glittered
Now pales into a ruby studded
The door is strangely ajar
The sand below my feet turns dark
Till it dampens soul with a wave
There is little to choose amidst
The dry sand and the wet sea
I push the door with my last breath
And take a plunge towards eternity
The gushing water halts the breath
Chokes , stifles , suffocates and stifles
An instant to end a lifelong
As drop by drop the breath is replaced
One thought of the golden knob
The glitter and the basking sand
When it was a beautiful world
A shred of fragmented last breath
Closes the door ..within
The man knocks from inside
On the walls of a known “I”
That has been so long preserved
Once the time is frozen and breath broken
The knock fades amidst stony waves
The knob gets locked eternally
Once we get drowned on ground
Which side is an outside
And which one within
To the one you can see through
It does not really matter
For some lead an insipid life
While those who fail to fade
Whether alive or dead
Ablaze to flicker
Those who never drown
Are the ones who walk on sea.
