Turgid when downward bent
Ruminating with spiralling sap
Yet her beauty is open to sun
She sprays her breath into air .
Within sepals of her inward smile
Lies a cache of cherished nectar
That snatches a vagabond from path
Who stops to follow his wonted shadow
Once enticed to the alluring whiff
And by the resplendent visage of brown
The luscious droplets of morning dew
On the striped petals of vermillion and white
Stretch their strands to halt his stride .
Cushioned upon the floral throne
He first sips the sparkle of her redness
And burrows into the deeper treasures
Concocts nectar from oozing sweetness
He lies within, wrapped in gory sheets
Till the twilight settles dust on day
The snore of the deep woods gushes
Amidst the droning of crickets in the bush
The orchestrated endeavor snaps his slumber
The vagabond unwraps himself slyly
Tip-toes out of her well spread arms
That open their grip with an innocent trust
Unravels the knot of her glossy tress
As he lurks out of the green doors
His shadow has reached the destinatio.
